The Backend Developer works as part of an Agile team to design, build and maintain systems responsible for extracting, cleaning and warehousing high availability business data for analytical purposes. The role works closely with other developers, designers, customers, testers, product owners and project managers to ensure that the company’s commercial goals are met by the effective and successful deployment of its data solutions.
Experience & Skills Needed:
– Have 3+ years of commercial PHP and Symfony experience
– Able to work in UK Time zone (GMT/BST)
– Commercial experience Unit Testing, Behat Testing, Javascript, jQuery, MongoDB
Soft Skills:
– Have buckets of energy, commitment, and drive
– Have excellent communication skills and have some experience of managing others
– Have a strong attention to detail
– Can and will deliver to timelines
– Are comfortable with high levels of analytical and planning work and have experience of, drawing up design plans based on client requirements and technologies
– Have outstanding problem-solving skills and confidence to tackle complex problems with little or no guidance
