Looking for someone to be an integral part of an established agile scrum team who are involved in a range of different growth projects. This role offers the opportunity to work with new versions of tech such as Docker, Spring boot, ISTIO, EKS and ECI.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Design and implement solutions using the newest version Docker, Springboot, ISTIO, EKS, ECI and Kubernetes technology
-Produce high quality program code and specifications
-Support system integration testing including input into test planning.
-Proactive identification and implementation of service improvements.
-Assist with trouble shooting, environment management, product demonstrations and coaching and mentoring of other members of the team
-Develop RESTful APIs and integrations with external systems
-Develop code with automated unit and integration tests
-Discuss technical specifications with teams
-Coach and mentor other developers
Requirements:
-Commercial experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate and Maven.
-Knowledge of Git and SQL.
-Experience in delivering commercial applications.
-Desire to learn new technologies.
-Able to work independently.
-Experience in an Agile scrum environment.
-Familiarity with CI or CD.
-Strong understanding of front end development, Javascript, Liquibase, MS-SQL server.
-Exposure to financial services systems.
